HI all,
Need some help here....
The notebook is a Gigabyte P27K, I'm trying to upgrade Primary SSD (240G) to a Crucial SSD 1TB, the primary SSD has 685MB left, the 2nd HDD still got enough storage 420G.
I want to temporary replace the 2nd HDD to Crucial 1TB, then clone primary SSD to the second SSD using Macrium reflect. Now I need to swap the 2nd HDD to Crucial 1TB but after I have done that the notebook won't boot...what could be the problem?

Regards, Freddy

The 1st boot is set to the SSD(Kingston) with 240G where the OS is installed, but the strange thing is that when I remove 2nd hard disk and boot the notebook I get some error message, put the 2nd HDD back again booted normally...

I have ordered a USB 3.0 To SATA adapter will clone it to new SSD through USB..

The BOOT sectors may be spread over both drives. That can happen when more than one disk is connected during windows installation or repair.
You can try to remove HDD temporarily and boot with disk/USB with windows installation on it then initiate repair.

I will clone the Kingston SSD 240G to Crucial SSD 1TB (using USB to SATA adpter)
-Replace Kingston SSD 240G to Crucial SSD 1TB,
Let say I had created 2 partitions in Crucial 500G + 500G, clone Kingston 240G to 1st partition and clone 2nd HDD to 2nd partition of Crucial, will this boot?
