Cannot change the resolution to 4K.

I have a laptop with 4K resolution but it's capped at 1080p. Model of the laptop - MSI GT62VR 7RE Dominator Pro.

FOUND THE SOLUTION: In Nvidia control panel under 3D settings you have have to change the DSR factors. FInally I can play games on 4K res!

That's really weird. Must have gotten reset or something during a driver update. Good find!

If you look at my posts up you will see that i asked if you had dsr active before the update, dsr 4k does not mean you have a 4k display. Look on google what dsr means adn what it does. You got a full hd display.

Which is very possible as that is why I spent so much time trying to locate his EXACT system. However, none of the information provided was able to provide such details.
