I asked this question before but I don't remember if it was in TH or not. I do remember that I didn't get a helpful answer. So here I go again.
Ever since I started using Windows 7 years ago, I have not been able to set my folder view settings individually as used to be possible with XP and earlier OSes. In particular, I'd like to be able to choose between icons and thumbnails for individual folders, but the setting always acts globally even though I did not click the "Apply to Folders" button.
Can anyone at least please tell me if this is possible or not in Windows 7?
