scenario now, my rig (PC1) was using a wifi dongle with no issues, used the dongle on my dad's rig (PC2), with no issues as well, could login Gmail and Youtube.
The problem started when i put PC2 at my dad's desk and used the cable connecting directly to the router. at this point, i cant connect to gmail and youtube at all. but, when i use the wifi dongle here, I can!
right after i tested the wifi dongle on PC2 and went back to using it on PC1, the problem carried over to PC1! note that i have NEVER connected PC1 to the internet through a cable before.
tested PC1 with another wifi dongle, NO issue connecting to gmail and youtube.
What is the issue here? is my wifi dongle corrupted? or some security/connection code is clashing with each other?
few things that i have done
-rebooted router
-removed all cookies and internet history
-flushed DNS cache (worked once, after restart the problem came back)
