Cannot create system repair disc

I cannot create a system repair disc. My DVD/CD-ROM is TSST Corp CDDVDW SH-224BB ATA Device which came from Samsung. The system says: The parameter is incorrect(0x80070057). Can anyone help me figure out what this means? Until a few days ago everything worked fine. Even burnt a system repair disc, no problems. Now it won't do it. I can access the drive and read various burnt dics. My system stats: Asus Mobo=P8Z77-V-Pro, CPU=Intel i7-3770K, 3.5Ghz, RAM=Kingston KHX2133C11D3K4/16GX=4x4GB; running win7 Ultimate. Any help much appreciated. Usually I can figure out what's going on but I very seldom use the Disc drive so I'm kind of rusted with this component. The driver is up to date and the best current driver(according to MSFT).

That means the system reserved is corrupt. You have to delete that part and totaly reinstall the disk. Here is Microsofts steps to repair the install.
