Hi There! So I bought an M.2 SSD but after plugging it in on my laptop, it is not being detected, Any reason why? I also checked Windows 10 Disk Management, and there is no disk other than my current HDD. Also I tried checking the SSD on different laptop and it works.

M.2 SSD - Western Digital Green
ASUS TUF FX505DT
Laptop Specs:
Ryzen 5 3550h
GTX 1650
12GB
1TB HDD (Its dual boot btw)

Solution
The Western digital green, from what I can tell, is NOT available in an NVME PCI M.2 SSD. It is ONLY available in a SATA M.2 SSD.

M.2 is only the form factor, it does not determine the bus type. They can be both SATA or PCI, and not all M.2 slots support both types. The user manual for your laptop seems to suggest that the M.2 slot only supports PCI type M.2 drives, so that is probably why that drive does not work in that laptop.
