Hello All,
I am having trouble enabling cdrom burning features via group policy. The
policy is enabled to allow burning features but when i click on the cd rom
drive on the client station it tells me "incorrect function". Has anyone
enabled cdroms on client stations and if so, How did they go about doing
it?. Also, is there any special software i might need in order for clients
to have drop and drag functionality with cdrom?
TIA,
Altria
BTW, these are XP client stations and Win2k Server

I had this same problem, and the only way I could get it
to work is to logon as the domain admin, and then add the
specific user to that xp stations local admin group. You
need to add their domain account to the computers local
admin group.
