Cannot Extend My Windows Partition

I've been trying to extend my C:\ partition so I can get some more room to work with as I try to copy some files over from a backup I made. That part's not really important though; I can do that just fine.
The problem is that right now, I've got my 500 GB partition on my 1863 GB hard drive, and I want to extend that to 863 GB (so I still have 1000 GB left over). But every time I try, I'm told that I apparently don't have enough disk space on my drive.

After some reading I thought I should mention:
1. My drive is as of now only my single C:\ partition, and the rest is unallocated space to the right of the main partition (according to Disk Management)
2. I've tried this with both Disk Management and DiskPart. The "extend volume" option in Disk Management is also not grayed out; and
3. it is not being declared as "free space." It's completely unallocated. Literally no reason that I should be told that there isn't enough space, because well...there IS.

Also I really can't format this partition, I've got a lot of stuff on it already and I can't afford to back it up or spend the time to redo all my work so far.
So if anyone can elaborate on this, I'd greatly appreciate the info!

Minitool Partition Wizard, maybe.

The "other drive" is a 2nd hard drive I had from a laptop that I'm keeping my previous backup on - I'd say it's unimportant right now but I'm not too sure. It's got a bunch of partitions on it since I never bothered to format it properly.

I might actually have enough space on "other drive" to make a quick backup, so I'll work on that.

Pretty much everything in the wizard in Disk Management to extend the partition works fine. Once I exit out of the wizard, I'm told "There is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation."
DiskPart doesn't have a GUI or a wizard as you probably know (its a command-line tool) and when I type in the command to extend it I get "Virtual Disk Service Error: There is not enough usable space for this operation."
I've tried using DiskPart in both Windows and in the recovery tools.
Also didn't see any change in Disk Management after attempting to use either command.

Little bit more info now. I'm now using EaseUS Partition Master to take a look at things. Apparently there's a 16 MB partition right after my C:\ partition that's blocking me from expanding it. Says it's reserved, obviously not going to delete it then. I need to find a way to move it, I guess. Course though, EaseUS can't fix it without a license...I love this kind of stuff. So gotta find something else I can use to fix the problem.

Apparently I can't move the reserved partition around. I mean...is it safe to delete? Can I just get it out of my way and put it back later or something if I make a backup of it? Macrium's Rescue software should let me move the C:\ partition to a better spot and put the reserved partition behind it, or at the very least make some room for an extension.

Great news! My problem's finally been solved! Here's what I did:
1. I backed up the reserved partition.
2. Booted into Macrium's rescue media, where I deleted the partition and extended my C:\ drive.
3. Used MiniTool to move my partition to the middle of my drive (apparently that partition wasn't neccesary to boot the PC, but I'll be replacing it anyways)

I'll be replacing the partition, moving my C:\ drive to a nice spot, and I'll be back in business restoring all of my backups.

Just wanted to thank you for your help! I'm happy to say my PC is fully up and running now!
