cannot get 4k resolution gtx 750 ti

hi, i have bought a panasonic tx-55cx802b 4k tv when i connect it up to my pc via hdmi i cannot get 4k resolution (3840 x 2160) the screen goes blank. the graphics card is a palit GTX 750 Ti StormX Dual, cpu is i5 4460 any ideas? thanks in advance

I dont think HDMI supports 4K resolution.

the version of hdmi the video card has only supports 30hz at 4k


make sure you are setting the correct refresh rate

are you using an adapter of any kind?


also the tv should have a "pc" mode or something similar

no i am not using a adapter. the graphics card has a hdmi c (mini) socket but i am using a type c to type a cable. the tv does not have a PC mode
