[SOLVED] cannot get 4k working with hdmi 2.0

I have a tcl roku 55r615 i want too use the hdmi 2.0 function for gaming an stuff and i noticed my hdmi cable is 1.4 is this the reason why it cannot connect when i do put the tv too the 1.4 hdmi setting everything works perfectly but only in 30Mhz refresh rate for duplication screens or even solo/1 screen only but once i try too put it too 2.0 no picture im wondering if i should buy a 2.0 hdmi cable

also when i looked up the spec's of the tcl 55r615 hdmi 2.0 function it says it only works at 60 Hz or higher can a hdmi 1.4 cable go up that high?

Get a proper HDMI cable.
