64GB Corsair Vengence LPX 3600mhz
Asus X570 Gaming E mobo
Ryzen 3800X

The system doesn't post correctly and loads with an error that tells you to go to BIOS and fix your settings. It stays stable at 3400mhz, but we (this build is for a friend) got the 3600mhz kit to hit that sweet spot on the infinity fabric. I have used BIOS versions 0804 (stock), 1005, and 1201. Each with no avail to a stable system at anything higher than 3400mhz. Am I missing something? or does this new platform still need to mature?
Please and thank you!!

Side note: why is vcore set to 1.48? jfc that's high!!!!

I was able to get a stable system at 3533hmz with DOCOP (or whatever ASUS calls XMP) after many attempts with BIOS 1201 at 3400-3600hmz with and without XMP and with and without manual or auto settings.

I don't think we'll be able to tell a difference at 3533mhz. It sucks I cannot get it to hit the rated speed but maybe this is good enough?

IF anyone can ACTUALLY fix this issue please hit me up, Thank you.

IMO, it's a BIOS issue.
My Asus ROG Strix B450-F with a R5 2600 (OC'd to 4 Ghz) allowed me to OC my 3200 RAM kit to 3400 with much tighter timings.
After updating the BIOS and installing a 3700x my RAM runs at 3200 with slightly tighter timings But will Not boot at 3333.
Hopefully Asus will release a new BIOS that improves RAM compatibility and OCing.

We all have to deal with growing pains unfortunately. Hopefully BIOS issues across the board (like the CPu frequency issue) are dealt with soon and before the end of the year.

Did you buy the RAM as a single 4 stick kit, or are you combining two 32GB kits?

Is the RAM you bought on the motherboard QVL? 3600 MHz is pretty fast, especially given the amount of memory we're talking about, i.e. 64 GB which is 4 or even 8 ranks worth of memory. It's not overly surprising you aren't able to run at full speed.

Why do you need so much memory?

I get what you are saying. All the tech reviewers (like the ever so scientific Gamers Nexus) are doing 3600mhz and that is the speed AMD told people is the best with Ryzen 3000. To answer your question the kit is a 64GB kit and is not on the QVL list. The 32GB version of this kit, corsair LPX, is on the list so I figured that this would work just fine. I DID get it stable at 3533mhz

Wouldn't be a Ryzen launch without memory issues, lol
