[SOLVED] Cannot get G29 to work with Assetto?

At first I was trying with logitech gaming software.
Then I changed it to G Hub.
I've added the wheel as controller in assetto settings.
I'm using default command setup on everything.
I've done a calib/config process on Windows, G Hub, and Assetto.
All tests confirm the wheel and pedals work perfectly.
I open assetto, set up a practice run with the mouse and keyboard, then as soon as the game starts nothing works.
The camera is just on the side of the car with the door open.
All I can do is switch camera view with the f buttons.
I cant even get out using esc, I need to push windows button and close the game from there.
I know the wheel works I tested it on my previous PC (this is a new build few months old)
I'm using windows 10 and the pc is high spec and otherwise fine.

I've just installed Assetto Corsa with a code from ebay which included all the car packs.
In the menu everything seems to work (the graphics sometimes flicker when you move the mouse)
I can navigate and change settings.
However as soon as I start a race or practice nothing responds.
I'm there next to my car and nothing I press does anything.
I've tried with mouse and keyboard, Dualshock 4, and a G29 wheel.
Nothing works.
The only keys that do anything are the f keys and they change the camera view.
Ive read it can be a problem with the dlc packs but I dont even know how to remove them back to just the game.
Please help.

Anything on Ebay should be bought with a tablespoon of salt, when it comes to game or OS keys.

Does the issue crop up without the DLC?

That being said, mind sharing the specs to your system? Please include/list your specs like so:

to gauge your system's abilities...?

Follow this guide. Make sure once you've set everything up you've saved the profile. Without a profile saved it won't work.

Specs are fine trust me

I've disabled all add on packs, didn't help.
Its occurred to me that there are no less than 4 programs that can effect the g29.
The windows config, the g hub, steam, and the assetto game itself.
I bet one of them is responsible.

Did you follow the video I posted?

You don't need to disable any add ons.

You need to set up and save a profile.
