I've recently made my new PC (As in, today), and I've just attempted to install windows 7 onto my SSD via USB. However, I am getting the error "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup log files for more information" error.
I've tried removing my HDD to just install Windows to my SSD because my friend told me that happened to him, it didn't work though.
I then tried changing the controller option from AHCI to IDE, which didn't work.
Lastly I tried installing to my HDD with all the above options and neither of those worked.
I really need help, thanks!

Did you create the USB installer stick using a program made for that purpose like THIS tool and instructions?

Also, leave your HDD disconnected while you install to the SSD and have your SATA mode set to ACHI before starting, use a USB 2.0 port (not 3.0) to do the install, and select a custom install then delete all partitions on the SSD and install to the remaining unpartitioned space.

Insure that your SSD is attached to the primary SATA controller, not an extra ASMedia or Marvell controller port.

Yeah, I used that same program.
I have tried with leaving my HDD disconnected while I install to SSD and I kept SATA mode set to AHCI, however it still didn't work.
I also tried using every single SATA port on my Mobo and it still didn't work

Oh, never mind, I figured out what was wrong. I was using a corrupt version of windows, so I attempted putting a different version of it on the USB and it worked.
Thanks for your help anyway!
