1. Launch Control Panel - Administrativce Tools - Services
a. Locate ASUS services and set them all to disabled.
b. Don't try to Stop the service since there's a good chance the ASUS Com Service won't stop anyway.
example:
ASUS Com Service
ASUS HM Com Service
ASUS System Control Service
AsusFanControlService
2. Reboot the PC
3. Try to remove AI Suite in the control panel
4. Whether it seemed to work or not continue with the following steps
5. Download/Install/Run CCleaner Free from Piriform
a. Click Tools on left - Highlight AI Suite if it exists and then click the remove button (don;t bother with uninstall or repair)
b. Click Cleaner on left and Run Cleaner
c. Click Registry on left and then scan and fix issues until no more issues appear
d. Close CCleaner
6. Run regedit and Find ASUS (select Match whole string only)
a. Delete the ASUS entries
7. Finally, and probably the most important step(s)
a. Delete C:\Program Files\ASUS
b. Delete C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS
c. Using Windows Explorer - Search for any remaining ASUS files - The stray/remaining uninstall files (they look like CAB entries - e.g. {2B71D4DB-C2B0-41C1-9F35-611AF7EAF37E} ) This, I believe is why reinstalling fails.
8. Reboot - Reinstall AI Suite

where did you get the two programs from? web site or the installer DVD?

Did Aura only start giving that error after you tried to install AI Suite or before? Clearly the (1) after name means there are two files with same name, it seems their programs can't cope with that fact.

Tried to repair the install of Aura? (not sure if this will help)
search cortana for control panel
pack add/remove programs
pick Asus Aura and there might be a repair option. You may need to choose uninstall and the program should offer a repair choice in the process

I solved it. Uninstall the app. Got to the zipped file. Click “Properties”. Check “Unblock”. Extract and install. Problem gone! At least for me.
