cannot open some file after SSD setup

I recently switched to an SSD 120 gb and I have window 10 64 bit install on it. Prior to this I have my OS windows 10 on a HDD. After installation everything works fine except that i cannot open some file (word document) from HDD as the windows explorer freezes whenever I try to do this, while other application still work fine including the browser. I will be very glade if there is a way out thanks

Did you reinstall Microsoft Office or some other word processing document on the new SSD? The old programs on the HDD will not run documents on the SSD, they must be installed again on the SSD.

Thank you very much. I had to reinstall the OS still did not work, finally I installed win 8 now its working fine but don't know why There were problems with win 10
