I recently upgraded my Motherboard to a B450 Tomahawk Max and decided I wanted to change my RAM too, I wanted something rated for 3200 and above with RGB so i picked up some pre owned Hyper X Predator 3200. With my old RAM I was able to overclock to 3000 from 2666 and 4GHz on my Ryzen 5 2600 with no issues but now I am finding that I cannot enable either of the two XMP profiles (2933/3200) AND overclock my cpu in any way, even though I never had an issue getting to 4Ghz and 3000 with my old RAM. I have tried manually adjusting the timings and voltage, BIOS updates, swapping the RAM for the second set (4 sticks of 8GB), done chipset updates and for the life of me, I cant figure out why it isnt working. The system will boot with whatever settings I set up in the BIOS, but if i shut down my PC or put it to sleep, it doesnt post again, no DEBUG LED, nothing, just sits there with no output to the display, only way to access the system again is to clear the CMOS. any idea what to do from here?
