I had a Western Digital My Book Live Duo connected to my network via a switch. I assigned it a static IP 192.168.254.18. I disconnected my MBLD but recently had to reconnect it. My router, a netgear 7550, shows the address 192.168.254.18 as an Amazon device. Advance IP Scanner doesn't show the .18 address but does show .19 and .20 for the Amazon. How can I reset the IP if I can't access it?

I had used the set up screen for the device originally. I just went in and added the device to the IP Address Reservation field. Still not showing. Think the logic board got damaged?

Now for something really different. I went to the My Connected Home dialog and noticed I could delete the device so I tried. Instead of the amazon device it tried to delete my Yamaha audio receiver.

On the Netgear 7550 router what is the configured DHCP IP address range?

Is the router still set with its default IP address 192.168.254.254?

When the MBLD was originally disconnected - did you do a factory reset either then or later?

Does the following link match your NAS?

Currently getting 404 errors with regards to the manuals.

The router address is still 192.168.254.254. Per the router page...
LAN IP Address
192.168.254.254
LAN Subnet Mask
255.255.255.0
LAN MAC Address
B0:B9:8A:35:FB:26
DHCP Server Status
Enabled
DHCP Start IP Address
192.168.254.15
DHCP End IP Address
192.168.254.47

I did not do a factory reset. I only used the reset button on the unit. The hard drive in it is not the original. Could this be the culprit?
BTW - The manual link is at https://support-en.wd.com/app/products/product-detail/p/1441#WD_downloads

Per WD Support, I connected the unit directly to the ethernet port of my computer and still no can see. The LED on the front of the unit is green. I'm going to try and see if removing the HDD and reinstalling it will do any good.
