Cannot select windows by mouse clicking

Hi

Since a few minutes I have a problem with my mouse. When I try to select a window by clicking the left mouse button, Windows doesn't react. However, when I select a window with ALT+TAB and then try to click on something like a link, it wortks just fine. The same problem happens on the desktop. When I try clicking a icon(shortcut) twice, Windows doesn't respond... It starts to relly annoy me. If there's anything I can do to solve this problem besides reinstalling Windows, I'd be really thankful.

After a few minutes it works again. But a few minutes the problem is back...
