[SOLVED] Cannot set the correct display resolution.

Hi,
I have an issue with setting my display resolution. Monitor is Samsung SyncMaster E2220 but it shows that its native resolution is 1280x1024 instead of 1920x1080. If I set it to 1280x1024 everything is enlarged and stretched. Windows does not give me an option for 1080p so i set custom resolution i nvidia settings. But on 1080p everything appears blurry. GPU is GTX 1050Ti

Is the pc seeing it as generic monitor ? using DVI? try unpluging the DVI cable and replug it while the computer is on.

Yes it sees it as a generic PNP monitor, I use DVI. Tried unplug-plug DVI still the same also tried reinstalling all the drivers still din't help.

I managed to resolve the issue. Just put the timing in Nvidia control panel from automatic to DMT.(in custom resolutions)
