Cannot share internet connection ?

"Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) local service started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other programs." This is the error that comes up when i try to start internet sharing.. someone plz help ?

Has it worked in the past?
Which version of windows?
What sort of connection are you sharing?
What network connections do you have an how are they configured?

windows 7 32 bit ultimate
trying to share pc's broadband internet connection with my android

Sounds like what you need is a wifi router.
If your pc has an unused wifi adapter, it is possible to set it up as a wifi access point (but I doubt that this is what you want)
