I get a flashing black screen when the login screen should appear, I have read about the modified files from the patcher can cause this but when I uninstall and restore the backed up originals and restart before installing updates it has the same flashing black screen. What do I do? I don't have a system restore point from before using the patch because it has been many months ago.
