Cannot update bios of asus gtx 1060 dual oc 6gb

i downloaded the bios update off the asus website, however when i try to update it gives me the message "your graphic card no need to update VBIOS!". does anyone have any idea how to update the bios? i know the update isnt working because the update allows the fans to go bellow 30%, i cannot do this currently.

If the program tells you don't need to update then you already have the latest BIOS. If you want lower fan speeds than 30% you would want to look at possibly reflashing with a custom BIOS. Is 30% speed too noisy or something?
