Question Canon 4400F Flatbed Scanner

Acquired this solely to scan 35mm film negatives. Was aware that no Win 10 driver made available by Canon but downloaded recommended alternative from Canon support. Worked initially then lost the TWAIN interface and film scanning capability. Any similar experiences/fixes?

Have you tried VueScan ?

It supports the Canon 4400F, and the software interface supports film & slide scanning.

Only downside is it's free to try but not free if you want to keep using it.

Hi, yes have tried VueScan but to buy full version is probably uneconomic.
