Canon printer makes grinding sound when started

Hello,
I have a Canon printer- one month old and I might have printer around 30 pages so far. two days ago it started making a loud grinding sound as if the roller was rubbing on to something. It does not take in paper and does not print. The sound was really loud and i had to immediately switch it off. How can I fix it?

If it is one month old, it will still be covered by warranty. Do not attempt to fix it, just return it for warranty service or replacement.
