Question Can't access bios after reseting cmos, can changing it fix the problem?

When i start my Lenovo z580 it shows windows 7 logo then gives error 0x0000014c, tried resetting the cmos.
I also have a bootable usb stick but i couldnt upgrade because of the bios problem, can changing the cmos fix the bios?
