Hello!

I recently upgraded my system with some new ram, an extra SSD, and a new GPU. The system boots up fine into windows but if I try to access the bios on POST it just stops at a blue screen. http://i.imgur.com/7U0jMLt.jpg

What I was running:
CPU INTEL|CORE I7 3770K 3.5G 8M R
MB GIGABYTE|GA-Z77X-UD5H Z77 1155 R
VGA GIGABYTE|GV-N680OC-2GD GTX680 R
MEM 4Gx2|KST KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX RT
SSD 128G|CRUCIAL CT128M4SSD2 R
PSU CORSAIR| CMPSU-850AX 850W RT

My upgrade:
I replaced my mem with G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-16GXM

and I replaced my GPU with an EVGA Geforce GTX 980

I took out my old ram and replaced it with the new ram and tested it, everything worked just fine. The next night I removed my old nvidia drivers with driver sweeper, once I added in the new card I was prompted by my bios to use optimized settings. I said yes without thinking and now I'm unable to access my bios no matter how I try to access it. I've tried it with the old ram, the old video card, i updated the bios to f13, I've tried every way to get into the bios but it always stops on this blue screen.

Has anyone had this problem before? No buttons work when its there, I can't access qflash or bios or system information, it all just pulls up that blue screen. The error on my motherboard says d5.

Thanks for any help!

Solution
AH, so I found the latest bios on the gigabyte website, installed those, and now i can actually get into my bios settings again, yay!

So for anyone looking for a solution just install the latest bios :)
Hi

Or reset CMOS using jumper .
Power must be disconnected while doing this
I note you have a dual bios it may be possible to select second bios if clearing CMOS does not work and first bios is corrupted

You should be able to boot up using integrated graphics instead of graphics card

Best of luck

The system boots just fine if I don't try to access the bios, should I still try this?

I tried taking the battery out, left it out for 5+ minutes, put it back in but it didnt make a difference it still gets stuck on that blue screen when I attempt to get into the bios.

I also tried switching the dual bios switch but it just gets stuck on the POST screen then turns to a black screen.

Still can't seem to get into that bios screen to do anything... anyone other ideas?
