If you can't figure out how to repair it or want a to get some files out safely. Permissions are more for software protection and are easily readable with hardware access and root powers. Mount it on Ubuntu (boot from usb) and copy the files over to another free drive. You can modify the permissions of your copies in Linux using chmod 777. I would get your needed files copied out before you do anything that may not be reversible.
If I had to hazard a guess based on the screenshot you submitted and your description of the problem it would be that a truly royal screw-up occurred during a disk-cloning operation that you (or someone) undertook. Is there any merit to my guess? If so, it would be a super idea if you would provide a detailed description of the events that led up to this disaster. And if you're inclined to do so, provide details, DETAILS! Capiche?
