When I right click on my drive and click general it shows the drive to be full and under file system it shoes nothing should it not show NTFS? I can't access the drive in any way and shows full

Solution

I fear it is too far gone for a simple 'Repair'
Full reinstall.

In the OS install...
When it asks where, select and Delete ALL partitions, leaving one large space
Let Windows format that, creating what it needs.

Of course, everything on that drive will be gone, so save anything critical if you can.

My most critical files are backed up on external drive but there are other files I didn't want to lose but can't back ip now because I can't access the disk........so when it ask where to install the OS I have to first delete all partitions showing?

Correct.

Every guide that talks about editing the Registry has a warning:

Warning
• Incorrectly editing the registry may severely damage your system. At the very least, you should back up any valued data on the computer before making changes to the registry.
