Can't access SSD

Installed windows on another drive and when i went to transfer the files i was unable to access the drive, Was not labeled but did show up in disk manager, All options were grayed out, Didn't allow to format, partition, explore, or even look at the properties. It said the drive was 100% free when it has about 90/120gb used. Its a samsung Evo 250gb SSD. Any ideas? I have very important and expensive information on it. Would be at a loss to lose it.

Was the drive encrypted?
Are you sure you didn't delete the partitions on it when you installed windows?
Are you sure you didn't install windows on to the drive you were already using?
