Just installed a new cpu and am having an endless bsod loop because of AMD overdrive. All the fixes say to boot into safe mode (which im in now) and uninstall it. But windows will not let me do this. It says the service cant be reached or something to that effect, So i went to its install directory and it has no manual uninstall .exe What am i supposed to do this is incredibly annoying and i would really appreciate any help.

Solution
Sorry for the delay, i have solved this issue but in case anyone else happens across this thread was Safemode and networking, and then you need a program to uninstall the overdrive software, Simply installing the old cpu would have worked but i would rather not have torn down everything once again as it was a different generation of processors and would have required significant work. (if you're well practiced or have no options that will in fact work) So thank you both for your replies to that most annoying problem

(Revo uninstaller is what i ended up using)
