Question Can't boot from gpt ssd but uefi bios

Hi,I have a asus h310m-k r2.0 mobo and I converted my ssd to gpt using gptgen and now I can't boot
It says "insert bootable device"
I tried enabling uefi and disabling legacy but can't get it to work
Disabled cms,not seeing my ssd
Any ideas what can I do so I don't lose my data?

Boot to a live Linux CD and plug in an external HDD to copy the needed data off of the computer and then reinstall Windows.

Can't I do something with winpe?

The issue you have is that you have gone from legacy to uefi booting and that can cause problems. When you want to use uefi booting it is for the best to have a fresh install rather than a conversion.

It is one or the other. You cannot go between legacy and uefi.
