Question Cant boot from usb, stuck at screen

Trying to boot from usb. Motherboard is https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-MA790X-DS4-rev-1x#ov . I get stuck at that screen after selecting the USB from the boot menu. Any idea what this is? Cant do anything here, nothing responds. Only way to exit is to force shutdown.

Honestly, I'm shocked a system of that era will even attempt to boot from a USB..

Certain ports may be direct to the chipset, others may be via addon controllers that are not fully enabled. I would suggest trying alternate USB ports.

well, it worked eventually, and it's not that of an old system as one would think, i've booted USBs on older systems. I wanted to install FreeNAS and it booted when i installed it ON the USB.
