[SOLVED] cant boot from usb

Hi guys hope someone can help.
I use linux mint, but want to go back into windows.
I got a new usb drive PNY 16GB and copied windows 10 into it, I can see the drive in bios but it wont boot it.
I tried both UEFI and without.
The drive is set to MBR and FAT32
I have mb asus prime h310m-k r2.0

how did you copied windows 10 into it?

I mounted the iso file and copied the files, I will now try reformat in exfat and use disk image writer
