Can't boot into windows 10

I got a PC after not having one for 2+ years and it came with windows 10 installed. When I try to boot into windows I see the blue windows sign then it goes to a black screen and stays there. So far the only way I've been able to use the PC is to reinstall windows every time I want to use it.

Did anyone else have this problem and managed to fix it or know how to fix it?

spam f8 at start up. this will take you into advanced start up
