Cant Boot With ISO Copy of Windows 8.1 Pro

Hi, so I have an ISO copy of Windows 8.1 Pro in my USB, I want to reformat my pc but I dont know how I follow the instructions and it tells me after I download the ISO File use Rufus or Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool to put it in the USB with a file system of a NTFS so I use Rufus and the next step is to eject it then shut down the pc then next is plugged the USB and turn on the pc and choose the USB as the boot option so I did it and after it tells me "Press any key to boot" then I press a key but then it tells me "Disc read error occured" so I dont know what to do now, I read comments there and others are talking about UEFI Sytem and Legacy System so I think this is where I got lost and I dont know how to turn off my UEFI System because my pc is old so its Boot menu has less access on things not like the menus on the new MOBOs today. So please if anyone can help me because I want to reformat my pc because its getting slow, please help :s

Hi, when you plug the usb into your PC, does are there w hole bunch of different files on the usb or is there just the one iso file?

It contains with these folders boot, efi, sources, and support and there are these other files which is autorun, bootmgr, bootmgr.efi, and setup

OK, that's strange then. Are you sure that the PC is set to boot from the USB?

Yep, I did set it on the mobo bios. The thing I did was plugged the usb then turn it on, after that I press Delete to enter Bios and go to Advance Setup and go to Boot option and change it to Jetflash Transcend(My usb) and the other 2 boot options are disabled then I press F10 to save and exit and it restarted and it still runs windows 7 so after that I restart it and press delete to enter Bios and in advance setup it brings back the last option on 1st boot option on floppy disk and the other 2 have like STRK or something im not sure but it keeps getting back from the normal settings even if I save it to boot with the usb so the next thing I did was restart it and press F8 to choose where to boot and I choose jetflash transcend and after that it shows press any key to boot then after I press a key it tells me disc error occured press ctrl+alt+del ro restart so I press it and do f8 again and choose the usb but it still says error.

Maybe try using a different usb, maybe that one is formatted wrong.

Make sure that your USB is formatted as NTFS and you are using a good copy of the OS. I prefer doing the OS upgrade which will not require me to boot.

Okay I use another USB with 4gb Space but whenever im transfering the file to it both Rufus and Microsoft Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool but it keeps telling me error :v

Update:
I also tried formatting the usb without using those Apps but it says "Windows unable to complete the format."

Make sure that your USB is formatted as NTFS and you are using a good copy of the OS. I prefer doing the OS upgrade which will not require me to boot.

Its formatted as NTFS, I have a good copy of it. I dont know how to do that :v im using Windows 7 BTW

Try downloading a program called power ISO. Then just extract the files to a folder of your choice then just right click and copy all of the files to the usb

Well I cant format my USB to change it to NTFS file it says "Windows was unable to complete the format." :v
