Question Cant change any bios setting after F8 update

Hello
I updated my mobo bios to ver F8 , now when i try to change any settings through bios , all sort of weirdness happens , first windows starts without bios picture , next blue screen of death due to booting issue , i recover by removing the battery , but cant overclock or change any setting!

Mobo auros z390 elite
9900k cpu
Rtx 2080ti

Try flashing the BIOS again is my only suggestion.

If possible revert to an older version. (Unless there was something specific you were trying to fix)

I would hv reverted but on intel website there is a warning that this update is a security update that has to be done

It is either that or you stick with the default settings, or wait for the next release and hope it is better.

You can re-install the BIOS you already have on there. Something may have simply gone wrong. It does happen from time to time. Which is why they recommend only updating the BIOS when something important needs to be taken care of.
