Can't change 'Core Voltage (mV)' in msi afterburner

Hi all I'm trying to overclock my gpu and have gotten to the point where Heaven Benchmark crashes, so i would like to increase my core voltage however whatever i do i cannot increase it. I've been looking for a fix for ages, i have all the correct options checked and ive even tried editing my config files but nothing works... Hopefully someone can help 🙂

why with NVidia cards you got to do a bios mod [at own risk]

look in to that on NVidia

Ok, so is there no way to do it in afterburner?

well cant say , I don't have a 10 series seems you can adjust the power cap thing to like say 110% then in afterburner under settings general tab look down the list of things and see one called ''unlock voltage control '' check it on and apply and try and see if it will allow you to do so ??

it does work on my 900 card. but ?????? with it afterburner I then can use the slider to bump up the cards voltage. thing is NVidia gets funny on this and there cards so maybe its as in one of the links I gave above ''hard capped '' ??

I guess you just got to read up and learn whats going on and what guys find to do on these newer cards as ti goes on over time ?
