A couple days ago I was playing CSGO and my screen turned grey with black lines. I restarted it but after seeing the windows logo, it stayed a black screen for a while. Entered safe mode and tried to change the resolution, however, the max it would go was 1280 x 1024. I tried to uninstall my drivers in device manager and go to the amd website and install new drivers, but the latest one it showed was crimson relive, which I had trouble downloading in safe mode. My computer can stay in normal mode for a few minutes before going back to a black screen without turning off. Need help.

Specs: amd fx 8320
8 GB 1600 ram
Biostar ta970 motherboard
Radeon 7870
1 TB wd blue harddrive
600 watt powersupply

1) Download DDU but don't run it yet. http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
2) Download your drivers but don't install them yet. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
3) Restart into Safe Mode.
4) Run DDU and use it to remove your graphics drivers.
5) Shut the machine down, unplug it, then hold the power button for 3 seconds.
6) Open your case, remove the graphics card from the motherboard, then put it back. If there are power connectors going to the card, unplug them before removing the card and plug them back in after putting the card back onto the board.
7) Start Windows normally.
8) Install the drivers you downloaded earlier.
9) Restart.
10 Try your games again and observe if system behavior has changed.

Whenever I try to download drivers on the amd website, the download would start but never finished because after only a few minutes in normal mode it would turn to a black screen. In safe mode it doesn't go to a black screen but it doesn't let me download them

Download onto USB from another computer?
