cant change resolution excep 1024*768 or 800*600

i am unable to change my resolution except the higher one and the lower one and when i install graphic driver an error occured that your system does not meet minium requirement, i installed all driver i dont know what is the problem

did you install the correct driver? they come in flavors depending on which windows you have and if its 32 or 64 bit

If it's a laptop you probably need to install drivers from the laptop manufacturer's website, rather than Intel/AMD/Nvidia

^+1 true many manufacturers have their own drivers for their specific hardware - I know a friend's Sony was that way.

system specs including monitor.
not all monitors can go over those size restrictions esp if they are cheap or older.

but with out any system specs, there's no place to begin credible trouble shooting
