The
Corsair Void Stereo is based upon a 3.5mm connector and as the name implies, is a stereo headset while the
Corsair H1500 is USB powered. Now the USB powered headset will rely on the USB port to do all the sound processing and to add to that fact will use a stereo source to upmix channels and produce a virtual surround sound experience. Do note that you're not going to be able to use your dedicated or onboard sound card to connect to the H1500 and in effect will loose out on any functionality from your sound card + you're not essentially true 7.1 audio output as you're relying on a stereo source.
Depending on your audio equipment/sound card/setup I'd suggest the stereo if you'd like to take advantage of your sound card with the analog ports. If you are on a desktop with a very bad/dated onboard soundcard then you can go for the USB driven headset.
