Hello!

I have created a FTP server using FileZilla Server successfully on a network.
I can access the server with this address and see the files on the local network:

ftp://192.168.1.5:21

Now I have the problem when accessing the server from an external address using the server computer external address.
There is no response at all here. All IP addresses are the real ones.
ftp://<<public IP removed by moderator>> :21

So I have done this: (See images on the link)

  • Port forwarding in the roter
  • Put Firewall Low etc on the router
  • Disabled ALL firewalls on the computer that has FileZilla server (No antivirus application exists on the computer)
I don't know what I can do more and why I can't get a connection with the server?

Many thanks

Thank you, when I look at FileZilla server settings, I can see the below settings which seems to be correct where the external IP: 79.129.110.116 is already set up for passive mode and should be sent to the router and then to the client if I understand. Also the port range 1-65534 falls within port 21 that I am using?

I also tried to put: 21 - 21 in the custom port range which not worked either. The port
that I have forwarded on the router.

When I look at the router settings, I wonder if "Port Binding" is important to check here. When I look nothing is checked here? I know "SSID1" is the wireless network the computer/server is connected to.

I have tried to enable all without success also.
