[SOLVED] Can't create system image when VSS Service is on

Hi,

I've been unable to do system backups with more than one type of backup software when VSS is running. Does anybody know why that would happen? And, is it OK to keep it off if I regularly use a backup program like AOMEI?

Hi,

Do you get any error messages? Is there any error event logged in the Application event log?

To check the event logs, right-click Start, click Event Viewer.
Expand Windows logs > Application.

Check if there are any VSS related errors logged at that time.

Basically, the updater won't work while VSS is on. When I disable it, I can do a backup.
