Unknow folders, not created by user, with wierd names and characters have
appeared on my OS. I cannot delete or modify them and inspite the fact that I
have admin rights, i have access denied. It could be a virus? I wish to get
to get rid of it for good. Can anyone please help? How can I remove it
without the need to format the drive?

thanks

Ted

Give us a clue. Post the name of one of these folders.

Install this program called unlocker after it is installed then right click
the file or folder and select Unlocker. If the file or folder is locked then
a window will appear with a list of processes locking the file or folder.
Select the locks and click Unlock and you are done.

try Killbox http://www.pcbutts1.com/downloads/killbox.zip
