Hello guys,I'm new to this forum and my english is not very good.I hope you can understand it and able help me out here. So, I have a sandisk micro sd card with 32gb memory (i did the partition 20.5gb primary and 9.2gb ext2 and 1.74gb unused on primary and 6.81gb unused on ext2). This problem happens to me a week ago and I still finding a solution to this kind of problem but non of them works for me. I've been using it for almost a year and all of sudden this problem came out.
From windows chkdsk (it says no system files error but there's a message wrote below"cannot write boot sector"),diskpart (nothing really happens to my sdcard after format fs=FAT32), MinitoolPartitionWizard, HPUSBFormattingTool, SD Formatter(it says "SD card is write protected" so i did try to remove the policies using regedit but still the same message reappears), Normal window formatting(the result is "windows unable to format"),Android format(used my samsung A5 to format it but the files is still there like nothing happens), Disk wiping/partition (fill with zero or one) and also checked the lock on side of the adapter (i bought two of them with different brand in case one of its lock didnt work or broken) and non of them work. When I try to delete the files manually from my laptop it worked, but when i reinsert it back to my laptop/smartphone(Samsung Galaxy A5), the files appears again. I also tried to delete files using my smartphone(Samsung Galaxy A5) and it says "failed to delete".
Luckily, the files in the sd card can still be access and backup (pdf files works perfectly fine, videos and picture can be open & played both on laptop and phone). I can copy the files and save it to my laptop but i cant delete nor create a files into it(the files i created went missing when i reconnect the sd card to my laptop). I'm hoping for someone here who read this to come out with a solution on how to fix this annoying problem ASAP because from my little research i found that the sd card was actually turn to bad which caused it to become read-only (even the lock on adapter on right position) and i have to buy a new one as a solution.🙁 So i hope once again this statement is not true bcuz i dont want to waste my money on it (unless there's no other ways) and reveal the real solution. Thankyou 😀
