[SOLVED] Cant Delete Windows.Old folder

I recently reset my pc with a new version of windows 10. I was told to delete the Windows.Old folder and a problem occurred when i attempted to delete the folder, a pop up came said i have to have permission to delete the folder. I looked it up saying i have to right-click on properties, then click on the security tab and change ownership. Then after that, i got another pop up saying “An error occurred while applying security information to:” to a file destination, “Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied.” Can someone help?

Unless the Windows.old file is causing an immediate problem because of it's size, if you do nothing it will self delete in about 10 days. Otherwise you can use Windows Cleanup app to delete it. https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-delete-the-windows-old-folder-from-windows-10/
