(FYI I don't understand a lot of what I did and the correct terms for things)
I just built my first pc and was trying to get my monitor to display from the GPU's HDMI port and wasn't having any luck. In the bios I went to advanced settings--> Advanced/system agent(SA)-->graphics configuration than I made the primary display something that said GPU. I then enabled the iGPU multi-monitor and saved everthing.
After I saved the settings, the monitor went black so I switched the HDMI cable from the motherboard to the GPU and it did nothing. Now all I see is a confusing screen. When I try hitting delete or F2 nothing happens and it goes back to the previous screen.
Any advice would be helpful!

I have a asus rog strix z370-e motherboard, intel core i7-8000k cpu, 2 8gb corsair vengance RGB ram, and a evga geforce GTX 1070 gpu. I've been trying to clear the cmos both by using a tweezer on the clrtc pins and unplugging the motherboards battery and neither is working.
