Cant factory reset Windows 7

I have a disk to redownload windows 7 but I can't find a way of deleting everything. System restore only goes back a month and when I go to where other pcs way restore to factory settings in the control panel it says to redownload windows but none of my files will be affected. I'm selling the pc so I need everything gone but as far as I'm aware I can't factory reset it.

Have you tried simply backing up your critical content and just simply formatting+installing the OS?

I just did it. I want into the Windows disk and just reinstalled it and it deleted evrything else.
