Question Can't find bios for this old toshiba satellite

I recently acquired an old toshiba satellite T235. When I got it it was stuck in a boot loop which I finally fixed by taking out a ram card. Anyway, They have bios updates listed on the site but the links are dead. I can't find the exe file anywhere. Anyone have a working link to download bios 1.70. I need it to fix the boot loop problem so I can add more ram to this pathetic thing. Thanks in advance.

I think the issue isn't with the BIOS, more so to do with the ram you're working with. What rams are you trying to work with? Just an FYI, you've stated the series to the laptop. Toshiba tend to have an SKU or P/N that denotes if your particular motherboard can even accept a higher rev BIOS version.

To add, that laptop is best put up on a shelf for posterity's sake. You can't possibly run anything on it in 2024, soon to be 2025.

It's vintage. lol. My other computer was stolen and I needed something to transfer roms to my handheld. The website states that 1.70 fixes the ram problem but all the links to said bios are dead.
