I have a ryzen 5 2600 and im trying to upgrade to ryzen 5 5600x, and my bios version is too low to do so. I currently have f51 and need to update to f60. when i go to bios to update bios, it doesnt work. i click on q flash, then i click on update bios and and it says "Cant Read File". My disk is partiontied if that matters but it is fat 32. I double clicked on the file and clicked thbe arrow, and it still doesn't work. Ive been trying to fix this for the past hour and it still hasn't been working. my mobo is a b450 I aorus pro wifi, 32gig ram. is there any fixes

Did you download and unpack the compressed files?
Did you completely read the instructions on the motherboard website in how to do so and if you need to name the file something different, etc.?

I unpacked the compressed files.
I could not find instructions and if i need to name the file something different. I have watched youtube videos with the same motherboard and it doesnt seem you need to change the name or anything.

MAybe the name of the bios file is obscure and not easily recognizable. I flashed a bios last week and hod to go back to see the actual name and numbers that the bios file got named when it wass extracted

Also- remeber to extract the bios file with 7Zip or something into the proper format
