Cant find second HD

Hello everyone!

I installed windows 10 on my first recently built pc (yay!), and everything since to be working fine. I installed the OS on a 120gb ssd, but windows doesn-t recognize my 1tb hd. When I checked in the Bios, it was there, so I dont think its a connection problem, maybe just windows.
Anyone know how to fix? I wanna start saving files on the other hd but cant.

hdd needs to be set up before win 10 will see it.

That has nothing to do with adding a second physical drive.

Open Disk Management
Does that drive appear? Probably
Right click on it
What options does it give you?

It shows the steps you take in disk management to add the drive to PC, I don't understand?

I had a hard time finding disk management in windows 10, but yeah i made it. Apparently it had no volume, but now its there. Thank you everyone!

Thats talking about making a second partition on a single drive.
Might be confusing to some new to messing around in there.
And misses the actual first step of a new drive - Initialize.

i need to find a better guide. I always forget about first step
